ReSource Denmark operates Denmark's largest plastic sorting plant, located in Esbjerg. We contribute to the green transition by ensuring that as much plastic as possible is sorted for recycling in Denmark. We commissioned the sorting plant in June 2024 and we sort plastic waste from all over Denmark. We work in three shifts and have approximately 65 employees. Our plant is highly automated and uses the latest technology in the field.
For our maintenance team, we are looking for a day shift technician to help maintain our machines and equipment. As a technician at ReSource Denmark, you will be an important part of our daily operations and will be part of a shift schedule together with the other 3 technicians who also handle our ABA systems.
You will work close to the plant and collaborate across the organization where you will have contact with colleagues and customers. Your tasks will primarily be
- Perform preventive maintenance on facility facilities and equipment
- Identify and solve technical problems using appropriate tools and methods
- Carry out repairs and replacements of defective components to ensure the system operates optimally
- Monitor and test equipment to identify potential faults
- Prepare documentation for troubleshooting
We imagine that you are
A trained blacksmith, mechanic, industrial electrician or similar and preferably have 3 - 5 years' experience from a similar position where you have worked as a technician on machines and conveyor belts. You have a good sense of humor and meet your colleagues with a smile and are happy to help them whenever you can. Due to our on-call schedule, it is important that you live a maximum of 30 km from Esbjerg.
You solve your tasks in a structured and independent way, meeting your deadlines. In your work, it comes naturally to you to communicate with everyone in the organization in a welcoming and friendly manner that is characterized by curiosity and enthusiasm. You enjoy working well both internally and with business partners and thrive in a company where both social and professional skills are valued.
