About ReSource
A new standard for recycling
ReSource Denmark is Denmark's largest and most advanced facility for sorting plastic waste. The facility, which opened in June 2024, is established in partnership between Eurazeo and Quantafuel. With a capacity of approximately 160,000 tons of plastic waste per year, we actively contribute to the circular economy by converting plastic waste into mono-fractions that can be used in both mechanical and chemical recycling.

High-tech and efficient operation
Our sorting facilities are built on the latest technology to ensure an efficient sorting process that maximizes the yield of recyclable materials and minimizes resource waste.
At ReSource Denmark, we see plastic as a valuable resource that can be used in new production cycles. Our advanced sorting technology and dedicated employees ensure that we can make a real difference and create a future where plastics are recycled instead of ending up as waste.
Playing an important role to reach Denmark’s recycling goal
Our facilities play a key role in achieving Denmark's ambitious plastic recycling targets. Today, around 85% of all plastic waste is either incinerated or exported, but the government aims to recycle 80% by 2030. With advanced technology and efficient processes, we ensure that plastic resources are recycled and utilized in the best possible way.

Prime location for a waste management facility
ReSource Denmark is located in Esbjerg, where the infrastructure ensures easy access for plastic waste delivery. The facility is only 500 meters from the motorway, 5 kilometers from the nearest train station and 8 kilometers from the Port of Esbjerg, making it possible to transport waste efficiently by road, rail or sea. This location supports a smooth supply chain
