January has proven to be a particularly busy month for ReSource Denmark, as the consumption of plastic packaging increases significantly in December with the holidays. This has resulted in large amounts of plastic waste that needs to be sorted and processed.
Efficiency paves the way for the future
This year we have processed more plastic waste than ever before. By introducing two shifts and optimizing our processes, we have achieved a significant improvement in our operational capacity and handling.
"During January, we set a new record for the amount of treated plastic waste - an important milestone that shows that we have quickly established ourselves as Denmark's leading plastic sorting facility. And our focused efforts to optimize operations have paid off. Our employees have made a great effort and we can now handle much larger volumes of plastic waste than before," says Technical Manager Anders Rosenkilde Larsen
This record marks the start of an exciting development where ReSource Denmark is ready to handle even larger volumes of plastic waste in the future and continue to strengthen Denmark's transition to a circular economy.
