I am pleased to welcome you to ReSource Denmark's newsletter, where we start the journey to a more sustainable future. My name is Lars H. Kristensen and I am the Plant Manager at ReSource Denmark. I look forward to sharing our journey with you.
At ReSource Denmark, our vision is to revolutionize the handling of plastic waste in Denmark. Our 173m x 40m x 20m facility in Esbjerg is well on its way to fulfilling this mission. ReSource is designed with the capacity to sort ALL plastic waste in Denmark (160,000 tons per year), eliminating the need to export or incinerate the plastic waste. The facility will be a cornerstone of a circular economy, bringing us closer to Denmark's ambitious recycling targets.
In this newsletter, you'll get an insight into our latest progress. We take you behind the scenes of our state-of-the-art sorting facility, introduce our dedicated team and explore the entire plastic waste value chain.
But it's not just about machines; it's about people. You'll meet our passionate operators, students and professionals who are driving the transformation.
