ReSource Denmark operates Denmark’s largest plastic sorting facility, located in Esbjerg. We actively contribute to the green transition by ensuring that as much plastic as possible is sorted for recycling in Denmark. Our highly automated facility, which uses the latest technology, began operations in June 2024 and sorts plastic waste from all over Denmark. We operate in three shifts and have approximately 70 employees.
We are looking for an independent shift supervisor for our evening shift to lead our team of 16 operators with various responsibilities. Together with your team, you will ensure that the facility runs optimally in the evening, thereby contributing to increased uptime at the facility—a key factor in achieving our ambition to become Europe’s preferred sorting facility.
You will help expand our competency matrix, which is designed to enhance employee flexibility across the plant’s various work areas. As an evening shift supervisor, you will rotate through our three areas and work closely with employees. You will work closely with the other shift supervisors from both the day and night shifts. Your primary responsibilities will be
- Manage and coordinate manpower needs between areas
- Staffing planning, including temporary staffing needs and vacation requests
- Ensure agreed production flow in agreed quality
- Conduct employee reviews (TUS, sick leave reviews, conflict resolution)
- Approve hourly usage via DatalønTid
We imagine that you are
Trained process operator or similar and have 3 - 5 years of experience from a position where you have managed and motivated employees in a production and where your understanding of the processes has been great. You have a good overview and take initiative and can familiarize yourself with complex issues. It would be an advantage if you have completed a management education.
You solve your tasks in a structured and independent way, with a natural attention to detail and meeting deadlines. In your work, it's natural for you to prioritize your tasks and be curious about how to approach and solve them. You thrive in a company where both social and professional skills are valued. It is important that you can communicate orally and in writing in Danish and English and use programs from the Office suite.
